Let's Celebrate! Once again, we reached the goal of our campaign of medicines "EVERYONE HEALTHY"

The objective of this campaign was to secure the necessary funds to acquire medicines to fight common health problems for these children such as parasites, respiratory infections, skin infections, etc. These medicines will benefit approx 200 children attending the nursery centers Alecrim y Arenitas.

These medicinces will last approximately six months, valued for a total of $1,375 US dollars. Such amount was raised through the donations of many godparents and donors! Additionally, in this opportunity we received the special support of the organization "Caminando Juntos" (affiliated to United Way International)

These medicines, in addition to the daily teaching of hygiene habits that all children and parents receive will help in controlling local illnesses. Good hygiene habits prevents more than 60% of these illnesses. This is why the centers give significant emphasis to teaching personal hygiene.
