CHRISTMAS DRIVE 2005 - WE DID IT AGAIN!!!
For the third consecutive year the 185 children from ALECRIM and ARENITAS had a wonderful Christmas celebration. We manage to collect $260.00 US dollars to buy toys for all the children. They were delivered in a little celebration where Santa Claus gave away the presents.
CHRISTMAS BASKETS
Similarly, we received donations to purchase provisions to put together 26 baskets (13 for each center);
in addition, we also provided 30 "Panetones" (sweetened bread) for christmas breakfast celebration. Initially, we estimated for the campaign enough supplies for 10 baskets for each center, however
as days went by, we contiously received more and more provisions. These allowed us to not only provide more
baskets, but also to provide each center these food supplies so that they would use them in their breakfasts
and lunch menus for the children!
Each Christmas Basket included:

1 jar of Marmalade |
