PROJECTS

Currently, the program consists of two projects (Patronage/Sponsorship or Special Donations) through which we plan to improve the living conditions of the children, their families, and the community. These projects will provide them with a better foundation for their present and future development.

Financial Statements 2006-2008

"Patronage/Sponsorship" - Fight Against Extreme Poverty
It is a program designed to fight some of the effects of extreme poverty on many children of our country, such as malnutrition (lack of adequate nourishment in the first years of life), health problems (basic medical supervision), and child development problems (programs of education and stimulation at early ages).

We believe that by fighting against these effects, we will provide every child in this program with a better foundation for their present and future development

Godparent's profile
The Godfather/Godmother can be any person living inside or outside Perú willing to commit on a mid-term basis to help a child living in extreme poverty in Perú.

¿How Does it Work?
The patronage consists of having a Godfather/Godmother commit to donate a monthly fee for a year (which could be renewed) to help support their godchildren with their basic needs of Food, Health and Education

The Godfather or Godmother will keep a close relationship with their Godson or Goddaughter through letters, notes, and cards via the Internet, and through the activities of the children. They will also be able to follow the development of their Godchild. Needless to say, any godparent interested in visiting and getting to know their godchild personally will be more than welcome. We will be more than happy to coordinate the visit. Sharing your Sponsorship?

Special Donations
This project consists of single contributions to satisfy the specific needs of a child, her family, and/or her community. We plan to improve the infrastructure of the Educational Center of the community, to help implement medical posts and parks with recreational activities, etc.

The Special Donations have been designed for those donors who would prefer to donate a specific amount for a specific goal.

The perspective of this aid is educational and it will help the beneficiaries (families and communities) to achieve self-realization through their own efforts. These achievements will be measured through the cooperation and direct participation of these members with their own communities, whether it is by supporting the educational center, or by assisting to the different community activities (workshops and talks).

Through this, we trust that families will recognize the importance of their role in improving the quality of life of their children and their community.

The Special Donations will vary according to the satisfaction of prior needs and/ or identification of new ones. Among the Special Donations currently identified, we can highlight the following: sets of anti-allergic blankets “Fruto Telar” (to protect families that live in shacks made out of straw mats); medical supplies to allow the medical post to function for three months; Playgrounds (with swings, slides, etc for the children to play); and many more that we will be constantly defining and reviewing.

NOTE: If you have any donation or suggestion that you think could benefit these children and could be added to the program of Special Donations, please write to us at Contact Us
